The bit comment is interesting. I think you are totally right, when you have a kid or a pet (or in this case a giant horse) it's your responsibility to make sure they are safe and don't bring harm to others. I don't know much about horses but from what I read online the bit is to help the rider better communicate with the horse. Seems like a super useful tool during training to me.

Seeing any animal like this breaks my heart, but when it's a horse, it makes me cry. Horses are the most gentle and selfless creatures of all. Just watching a horse running in a field takes my breath away. They're just pure grace in movement. He's just stunning! I'm so glad you found him! Now he can be what he was meant to be! Thank you!

This video of the beautiful soul Apollo proves it's never too late. For all the abandoned and hopeless animals out there and the people who tirelessly rescue them. Also, a lesson for any person to keep on going.

I think my favourite ever life experience is riding my horse at a walk along country roads, so very long time ago now. My big black horse long gone now 😢, the graciousness in my life.
